Rochester Irish Festival Times and Dates

Get ready to go the Emerald Isle without leaving American soil. The Rochester Irish Festival is soon to be underway with crafts, dancers, traditional Irish food, and the music that will carry you to the land of green. Come to Camp Eastman in Irondequoit, New York the weekend of September 9, 10, and 11th to be a part of the festivities. On Friday, the gates open at 3:00 pm and the festival begins at that time. You won’t want to miss the opening ceremonies at 6:30 pm and you’ll be in full swing until 11:00 pm. Saturday packs in a full day of festival events from noon until 11 pm. On Sunday, there will be a Catholic Mass on the grounds at 10 am followed by the official opening for the day at noon, wrapping up at 6:00 pm.

Admission to the Rochester Irish Festival is 10 per day. For a 20 advance-only pass, you can take part in the entire weekend. Advance tickets, for the weekend or at a daily rate of 8, may still be available at the Irish Import Shop at the mall in Greece Ridge and Irish and Celtic Imports at Pittsford Plaza. Payment is cash or check only; no credit cards will be accepted. Patrons should remember that a proper code of conduct is required. If anyone fails to behave in a respectful manner or bothers other visitors to this even, they will be asked to leave.

The Rochester Irish Festival began in 1994 through the efforts of volunteers in Rochester to keep Ireland’s spirit and culture alive for all who feel its call or think their blood might run green with their Irish heritage. It is a weekend filled with a taste of Ireland for families, children, and guests of all ages. Join us!
