History of The Rochester Irish Festival Food

The Rochester Irish Festival is a wonderful time of year to throw on your favorite green garb and get ready to party like the Irish do. Those that attend the festival can expect to enjoy authentic Irish dancing, great entertainment for children, and plenty of tradition Irish food and drink that will fill your belly and make you happy.

The Rochester Irish Festival has a history of having delicious food, no matter what your palate desires. You can expect to find plenty of booths that offer potatoes, breads, meats, seafood and more. This is the time of year that people love to show off their favorite recipes for Irish stew, fish and chips and more. And those in attendance get the satisfaction of enjoying it all.

If you are unfamiliar with Irish cuisine, you can also expect there to be booths with more modern meals as well. This includes hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, pizza and more.

But no matter what you decide to eat as your main meal, be sure to wash it down with a pint of Guinness or a shot of whiskey (but not if you plan to drive home).

Whether you are from Ireland, or you just enjoy partying like the Irish do, you will be sure to have a great time at the Rochester Irish Festival. And with the plethora of food options, you can try foods you’ve never had or those that are part of your daily routine.
